Objective of Program
• To support the government's initiatives to executive ODF campaign in Bajura district through sector coordination and capacity development.
Program Output
• A total of 3 master triggerers were involved in mass sensitization work in Martadi, Kolti and Rugin VDC.
• A one-day review meeting to 16 VDC secretaries and assistant secretaries were participated in Martadi to prepare ODF plan for remaining districts.
• Final review meeting comprising all 15 VWASHCCs together with stakeholders were held to formulate VDC sanitation strategy of 15 program VDCs.
• DWASHCC was supported for joint monitoring for validation and verification for final district ODF endorsements.
• Sector Coordination and Planning Activities: Renewal and implementation of committees. Strengthening and planning workshops along with political party representatives and sector stakeholders.
• Triggering and mass sensitization programs were conducted: Local triggers, professionals, support to schools for ignition tools and software activities, promotion of health, hygiene.
• Community Mobilization for Advocacy, Awareness, Implementation and Monitoring was done.
• Advocacy and awareness programs were organized through wall painting, hoarding boards, street drama, sanitation identification card, pocket chart, calendar and competition activities. Similarly, public message on ODF and celebrations of school level national and international days were disseminated.
• Communication and Awareness Campaign were conducted

• Establishment of matching fund for sanitation improvement in schools and community and VDCs.
